How to take my own Instagram pics from Video and screenshots
Are you tired of waiting on your friends to take your Instagram pics for you? When they take them do they look crazy? Here's 1 of 4 ways you can take your own Instagram pictures by yourself so you never have to rely on someone else again.
Change your Video setting to 4k
Go into your setting and make sure they videos are set to 4k. We want to get the highest quality possible starting off.
Equipment & Things You will Need
Outfit, accessories, props
Tripod

Location & Lighting (if inside)
You want to find the best possible light. I use a ring light.

If you don't have a ring light don't worry use a big window that brings in lots of light as your source.
Location(if outside), Lighting, and Set Up
After you have gathered all the equipment you will need for your shoot it's time to find a location and get everything set up. I suggest looking on Pinterest and figuring out what vibe you are going for. After you know what kind of location google places near you or look on Instagram in location tags for your area. I also drive around and location scout before shoots and make notes for future shoots.
Picture Location Suggestions
My favorite places to shoot are parking garages, the beach, in front of flower/plants, and white buildings.
Parking garages are great on Sundays because there's most likely not going to be alot of people out.
The beach is just always a vibe
In front of flowers and plants makes it feel like you are on vacation
White buildings give a clean city feel.
Take a video
Place the camera on your tripod and begin to record. For better quality use the back camera. This will still work if you use the front camera though it just won't be in 4k and that's the whole point.
Pose however you like while taking the video remember to pause. If you are not still enough the pictures may come out blurry so just move slowly when changing poses.
Look Through Video and Screenshot
Now that you are done recording it is time to look through the video and screenshot. I personally pause the video and look though (without it moving) so I don't miss anything. This will also make it easier to screenshot images. After you have the desire screenshots it's time to edit!
Editing Tips
Because she were taking screenshots the quality will be a little reduced so the first thing you want to do is SHARPEN the image. This will take out a lot of the blurriness and make the quality crisper.
After you've sharpened the image edit how you desire.
